2024 Year In Review + What's Next In 2025

As the curtain closes on 2024 we are celebrating Chapter Two’s best year so far after steady growth and exciting milestones reached throughout the year.

From the official start of construction on our flagship project to several completions and further planning on our innovative adaptive reuse development, we’ve set the stage for an even bigger and better year in 2025.

Here’s a look back at the progress and achievements we’ve made this year, and a sneak peek of what’s to come.

Holm Rainbow Bay - Official construction commenced

A standout moment for Chapter Two in 2024 was the appointment of the builder and the official start of construction on Holm Rainbow Bay.

The much-awaited sod-turning ceremony, which took place on Monday 16 December, marked the beginning of a new chapter for this premium development.  With the demolition phase completed and earthworks under way, the construction of this 87-residence project is expected to be completed in 2027.

Notably, Holm has already set a new benchmark for non-beachfront living on the Gold Coast, with a record-breaking penthouse sale. The penthouse sold off the plan for $4.5million - believed to be a new Gold Coast record for a non-beachfront development.

In another win for this project, Holm was named by Urbis as the number one selling project south of Burleigh and was also reported as the most enquired on Gold Coast project in January 2024, according to realestate.com.au.

Construction completes at Banksia Tingalpa

Our Banksia land estate at Tingalpa wrapped up construction in late 2024, with settlements now under way.  This gated community featuring a mix of traditional house and land lots is a rare find in Brisbane, given its proximity to the city and has been highly sought after by buyers looking for both security and convenience.

We are looking forward to the first homes starting construction soon with our first residents likely to be moving in by around mid-2025.

Eden is completed with residents settled in

The Eden Collection in Tugun is another notable success for Chapter Two.  This Gold Coast project saw construction completed in 2024, and the first residents all settled in.

With its luxury town home offerings, a proven winning formula following the successful completion of our Callista Palm Beach in 2023, Eden’s success can be credited to providing the perfect alternative to high-rise apartments, catering to those looking for more space, privacy and a traditional and laid-back beachside lifestyle.

Northside developments: McDowall, Bridgeman Downs and Taigum

Earlier this year, we celebrated the completion of construction on two estates on Brisbane's north: Treeline at McDowall and Verde at Bridgeman Downs. These projects added a total of 22 new lots to the market, enhancing the value of these sought-after, limited supply locations.

We also gained approval for our new boutique neighbourhood community in Taigum, which will see 37 new lots delivered with a range of home designs to choose from, reinforcing our commitment to addressing the growing demand for well-located, high-quality developments.  Sales and construction is due to launch in Q2 2025.

Spring Hill adaptive reuse project gathers pace

This year also saw continued progress on our Spring Hill adaptive reuse project- a rare office-to-residential conversion that will turn an office building into new luxury, apartment complex in one of the city’s best locations.

With design led by Cera Stribley, this innovative project focuses on sustainability and adaptive reuse, yet will deliver incomparable one-per-floor apartments in this stunning park side location.

The expected reduction in embodied carbon, achieved through the repurposing of an existing structure, is something the Chapter Two team is especially proud of.

Coming soon: New projects on the horizon

The momentum doesn’t stop here. We’ve already set our sights on several exciting projects for 2025, including a new development at Mango Hill.  This will be our company’s second venture in the area, and it’s shaping up to be a significant addition to the growing Moreton Bay region.
