Chance to build only 10km from CBD
Courier Mail | 23 MARCH 2024
A boutique land estate only 10km from the Brisbane CBD has just started construction, offering a rare opportunity to move into a brand-new home before the end of this year.
Banksia at Tingalpa is the first new development of its size in the suburb for several years and features more than 20 blocks ranging in size from 352sqm to 1040sqm.
On Brisbane’s eastside, Tingalpa is a short drive from both the Moreton Bay foreshore and the CBD, yet still sits below the median Brisbane house price.
Blocks in Banksia will adjoin the Bulimba Creek nature reserve and a future walking trail while providing a mix of frontages to suit many different contemporary family home designs.
Banksia is the latest project by Brisbane-based developer Chapter Two, which has just completed construction on two other boutique land estates on the city’s northside, and is focused on building timelessly designed residences in South East Queensland.
Chapter Two director Jon Quayle said the group had started civil works at Banksia prior to its release to the market, giving buyers complete confidence in the project and the prospect of moving into a brand-new home before Christmas.
“Tingalpa is the gateway suburb to a bayside lifestyle with natural surroundings and very few remaining opportunities to build a new home,” he said.
“Banksia will also be quite unique with a secure gated entry and highly attractive streetscapes maintained under a low-cost community title scheme.
“With proximity to schools, shopping and recreation, and land prices starting at only $497,500, Banksia will especially appeal to young families looking to upgrade to a new home in a well-established location.”
Banksia is in the catchment area for leading public and private schools, such as Moreton Bay College, Iona College and Cannon Hill Anglican College.
Parks, cycling tracks, golf courses, Wynnum foreshore and Manly Boat Harbour are only minutes away.
Westfield Carindale, Wynnum Plaza and Mayfair Village are all within 4km of the Banksia estate, while a variety of local shops, cafes and restaurants are also close by.
